I remember

Right now as I look at at my beautiful, 3 1/2 year old Korean daughter, I think back to the days when I began considering adoption.  I remember spending hours and hours searching on the internet for any and all information that I could find to help me with my decision.  I remember thinking, "Why isn't there more out there?!!?"  I wanted pictures of adoptive families, I wanted realistic timeframes, I wanted to talk to an adoption agency who showed compassion and interest, I wanted to know why people chose domestic adoption versus international adoption (or vice versa), and I wanted to know if anyone else out there considering adoption was SCARED TO DEATH!  I spent hours on the phone with adoptive moms, asking questions and talking through my fears.  I was lucky enough to have God on my side and a few key, inspirational people who helped me along the journey.  Had it not been for the support I received, I may have fallen and not completed the journey.  The journey, my journey, our journey, begins and ends with Megan - our angel.  We have been given an angel.  Now I want to give back.  I want to help others with their journeys - in any way I can.
